Acquisition of a 6.000 dwt. advanced chemical tanker

We are pleased to announce that on 3rd of February 2015 our fully owned subsidiary Utkilen Shipping AS took over the M/T Bow Pilot. The vessel will be renamed M/T Kilstraum and is an advanced chemical tanker with 14 cargo tanks made of stainless steel built at the Stettin yard in Poland in 1999.

Stream Tankers sells ten chemical tankers to BW Tankers

Stream Tankers AS (“Stream”) has entered into an agreement with BW Tankers Limited (“BW”), whereby BW will acquire 10 chemical tankers from Stream. This includes the sale of M/T Stream Luna (19.999 dwt./built 2010 at Shitanoe) and M/T Stream Mia (19.702 dwt./built 2008 at Fukuoka) to BW.

We are pleased to inform that Stream Tankers AS, has declared options for two additional 19,900 dwt. newbuildings with Fukuoka Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. and Shitanoe Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in Japan. This increases the order to four firm vessels with the shipyards. Furthermore, Stream Tankers has options to increase the order to up to six vessels.
